On the morning of September 24th, our college held a grand opening ceremony for 2024 undergraduates in Conference Room 101, Building 1. College leaders, counselors, class mentors, faculty representatives, and the Class of 2024 undergraduate students attended the ceremony. The ceremony was presided over by Li Jianqing, deputy party secretary of the school of Marxism.

Dean Li Haibo first delivered a speech. He extended a warm welcome to the new students, and introduced the basic situation of the college to the new students from three aspects: discipline construction, scientific research work and talent training, and guided the students to firm their ideals and beliefs, set lofty goals and enrich their university life. Associate Professor Gong Li on behalf of the faculty, undergraduate Wu Shihan on behalf of the students in 2022, and undergraduate Li Yuan and Bian Weimin on behalf of the freshmen in 2024 made speeches together. Finally, all the new students took the pledge of admission under the leadership of Jiang Zixin, an undergraduate of the class of 2024.

Finally, Tang Zhenhua, party secretary of the school of Marxism, gave the "First lesson" to the freshmen. He encouraged the new students to work hard, forge ahead, overcome difficulties, and have a promising future.
