研究方向包括:肝损伤机制及民族药物干预;皮肤创伤修复的民族药物药理学机制研究。
1996年毕业于湖南中医学院(现更名湖南中医药大学),获医学学士学位;同年任湖南株洲市中医伤科医院五官科医师;1998年9月赴日本国立广岛大学医学部留学,于2005年3月,获博士(药学)学位;2005年4月至2009年3月任广岛大学药学部助理教授;
在日本广岛大学任教期间,主持日本国家自然科学基金项目2项,并与Nippon Chemiphar、大鹏药品工业和协和发酵工业等几家主要药业公司合作开展扎托洛芬、紫杉醇等4项新药的研发工作。
2009年4月回国,任威尼斯wns8885556教授,并先后主持完成包括国家自然科学基金项目在内的各级研究项目70余项。
多年来主要从事包括肝癌在内肿瘤发生、发展的病理学机制及抗肿瘤民族药物的研究,以及包括修复皮肤重度创伤和银屑病、特应性皮炎、妊娠纹等慢性疑难皮肤疾患等药用敷料和轻医美的护肤功效性产品研发,并自主开发了皮肤自体快速再生与无痕修复技术SFO医美系列产品(从其应用场景而言,要么是独一无二,要么是遥遥领先),相关成果已获中国发明专利授权;在Nanomedicine NBM、Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry、International Journal of Nanomedicine、Neuropharmacology、Journal of Ethnopharmacology、Toxicology Research等期刊上发表论文70余篇,申报发明专利28项,其中24项已授权,并有糖尿病足溃疡无痕修复、快速去除妊娠纹、美白祛斑等13项技术已完成科技成果转化。
