Master of foreign Marxism
Objectives:
This period lasts for 3 years; the students should deeply understand the main school of the foreign Marxism as well as its representatives and works. And the students should be able to grasp the developing trend of foreign Marxism through the understanding on the politics, economy and cultural conditions of western countries, correctly understanding the relationship between foreign Marxism and the original Marxism.
The students are also required to conduct creative and explorative research on impressive theoretic issues, schools and the thoughts of representatives of foreign Marxism, aiding with the Marxism theory and methods. They need to be able to analyze the history and development of the foreign Marxism either.
The students will have to learn one foreign language to easily read the original works of this major, has the basic ability to conduct science research ; becoming the high level talents who can independently conduct the theoretic teaching ,research and broadcasting work .

Master of development history of Marxism
Objectives:
The students should thoroughly understand the theoretic system of Chinese characteristics, uphold the four fundamental principles of the socialist road, the people's democratic dictatorship, the leadership of the Communist Party, and Marxism-Leninism and Mao Zedong Thought; adhere to the four cardinal principles.
The students should thoroughly understand the Marxism theory, familiar with the development history of Marxism, understanding the basic principle and propagation history. The students of this major should be competent for the Marxism theoretic teaching and research work as well as education, science and research, counseling, decision occupations in colleges, enterprises or government offices.
The students should be able to speak one foreign language and able to read the original essays
The students should have a good health condition.

Master of basic principle of Marxism
Objectives:
The students should hold the faith of Marxism and socialism, and equipped with fine Marxism theory attainment, solid foundation and broad scope of knowledge. The students of this major should have correct theoretic orientation and should build a good study atmosphere, and able to speak a foreign language, read foreign essays and write in another language. These students will become the professional talents of our major, who are competent for teaching and research works in universities or government offices.

Master of Ideology and politics education
Objectives:
The students should tightly hold the faith of Marxism and socialism, thoroughly grasp the basic principles and theory of Marxism; equipped with solid and whole-scale basic theory and method in Ideology and politics education and familiar with the law of ideology and politics education; able to apply the theory into practice and solve problems with principals of Ideology and politics education.
These students should be talents competent for ideological and political education , research and broadcasting occupations in state offices, public security organs, universities and other institues.

Master of localization of Marxism in China
Objective：
This major mainly cultivate high level talents for party and government offices, research units, universities and enterprises. They will in charge of Chinese characteristic socialism theory and practice research in these units mentioned above.
After 3 years of education , the students should equipped with solid communism faith , correct theory research orientation and fine study atmosphere; they should thoroughly understand the theoretic achievement from localization of Marxism in China and should have potential to deeply explore and research in this field.
The students should skillfully grasp one foreign language, and be able to read foreign essays as well as participate the international academic communication.

Master of essential issues of modern and contemporary Chinese history
Objective：
The students should grasp the Marxism and Leninism, Mao Zedong thoughts, Deng Xiaoping theory and “three representatives” thoughts, adhere to the four cardinal principles, and adhere to the basic routes of the party. The students should be patriotic and observe the law and discipline, be equipped with fine professional ethnic and noble ideological morals and be willing to serve for the state socialism modernization construction.
The students should have a thorough understanding about the principle and methods on the basic issues of modern and contemporary history of China, and should be familiar with the clues of modern and contemporary history of China.
