On December 6, the Education Department of Hubei Province announced the list of provincial excellent grass-roots teaching organizations in Hubei universities in 2022, among which the Pharmaceutical Chemistry Teaching and Research Office was selected as one of the four units selected by our school. Up to now, the College of Pharmacy has two "excellent grass-roots teaching organizations in Hubei Province", namely, National Pharmaceutical Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center and Pharmaceutical Chemistry Teaching and Research Section.
The primary teaching organization of pharmaceutical chemistry was established in 2005. It has always adhered to the concept of collaborative education of production, teaching and research, and actively promoted the teaching reform of pharmaceutical chemistry related courses. After years of construction, the teaching and research department has built an online teaching database of pharmaceutical chemistry. There are more than 240 theoretical course teaching video resources, more than 1200 course materials, and more than 2.4 million course flows. The cumulative training service exceeds 1200 students. The "drug target interaction virtual simulation experiment" has been approved as the first batch of virtual simulation gold courses in Hubei Province.
For a long time, the College of Pharmacy has attached great importance to teaching and educating people, constantly strengthened the construction of grass-roots teaching organizations, and established a professional curriculum system that matches the talent training objectives. In recent years, pharmacy has been selected as the national first-class undergraduate major, pharmaceutical preparations, pharmaceutical analysis, chemical biology has been selected as the provincial first-class undergraduate major, the national pharmacy team has been awarded as the "Hubei Excellent Teaching Team", 2 national first-class undergraduate courses have been approved, 2 provincial first-class undergraduate courses have been approved, and 1 achievement has been awarded the special prize of the 9th Hubei Higher Education Teaching Achievement Award, which has realized the professional, organizational, team, curriculum The first-class full coverage of achievements provides a solid guarantee for striving to become a first-class pharmaceutical college in China and achieving high-quality development.
