Research Experience
2005-2010:Achieved PhD. Investigations on the isolation, structural elucidation, and bioactivities of natural products from plants. Highlight in studies on the monoterpenoid indole alkaloids (MIA) from plants of the family Apocynaceae. More than 200 MIAs were obtained, including new skeletons, as well as the significant anti-tumor cell lines activities.
2011-current:Carry out the isolation, structural elucidation, and bioactivities of natural products from higher fungi. Focus on the leading compounds for drug discovery. Carry out studies on mushroom toxins. Highlight on the discovery of novel Tricholoma terpenoids with significant anti-inflammatory activities. Carry out secondary metabolites from endophytic fungi, searching for anti-pathogenic agents.
