Biographical Sketch
Jin-Ming was born and raised in Yichang, Hubei, China. He began undergraduate studies at Hubei University in 2006, and obtained his B.S. degree in applied chemistry in 2010. Then in the fall of 2010, he began doctoral studies at East China University of Science & Technology (ECUST) under the direction of Prof. Min Shi. During his PhD studies, he moved to Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry (SIOC) as a joint ECUST-SIOC Ph.D. candidate from 2011-2015. Upon completion of his PhD studies in 2015 and subsequent one-year employment as a management trainee at WuXi AppTec Co., Jin-Ming moved to the Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ) to pursue his postdoctoral studies in the laboratory of Prof. Antonio M Echavarren funded by Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship. He joined the South-Central Minzu University (SCMU) as an associate professor in the fall of 2018 and was promoted to tenured professor in the spring of 2024.
